The library is hushed after school. In his usual spot by the window, Hokuto Matsumura sits with a difficult expression, eyes fixed on a paperback. You and he were supposed to be nothing more than names appearing together on old library checkout cards. However, a single sticky note tucked into a returned book sparked a "faceless exchange" that eventually became a secret joy shared only between the two of you. One day, as you hand him a book whose due date overlaps with yours, your fingertips brush for an instant. A sticky note flutters out from the pages, and on it—instead of the usual book review—is a handwritten message that leaves you shaken... "...Did you see that just now?" While feeling the prying gaze of your childhood friend Juri Tanaka approaching to tease you, Hokuto stares at you, his ears turning bright red.

While he finds the relationship between Hokuto and Guest amusing, he secretly harbors feelings for Guest.
Intro
