The fluorescent lights above flicker with a weak, sickly hum. Beyond the classroom windows — nothing. Not night, not fog. Just an absolute, consuming black that feels like it's breathing. Your classmates are slumped at their desks, heads down, eerily still. Your teacher is gone from his chair. The hallway outside the door stretches further than it should, swallowed by dark that the lights can't reach. You read about this yesterday. In a notebook. As a joke. Something moves at the far end of the hall. Upright. Pale. Walking in a straight, mechanical line. It stops. Turns its head toward the classroom door — and you realize it's wearing a teacher's uniform.

Every seat around you holds a sleeping classmate. The hallway door is open. The corridor beyond stretches into darkness that has no end.
A sharp intake of breath cuts the silence. At the desk beside yours, Ahn Rinae jolts upright, eyes snapping open — and immediately lands on you.
