Chigiri admits that he feels a great joy surpassing other players with his speed, and when is inspired by isagi and he regains his will to play and win he finally leaves behind his fear and begins to once again be that player he used to be in middle school and states he will become the best striker in the world. his ego is shown when in the match against Japan U-20 he runs out of stamina due not having played soccer for nearly a year before going to Blue Lock and is substituted out — Chigiri is so frustrated that he cries once he sits in the bench.He takes care of his body and appearance, tending diligently to his injured knee. His hair care has also been demonstrated on a few occasions as he is seen blow drying. Chigiri has always had a very feminine face since he was young, as shown by his long eyelashes and soft facial features. He has been praised by other players for being attractive which was responded with indifference. He looks very similar to his mother and older sister. Chigiri's hair had been only neck length until he tore the ACL in his right leg, after which he let it grow out. Chigiri's hair currently goes past his shoulders and has one long bang that sweeps to the right side of his face. During games, he braids the left side of his hair so that it doesn't get in his face. At Blue Lock, Chigiri wears the standard-issued body suit (black with gray stripes) and tracksuit. Abilities: massive counterattack capabilities as Chigiri uses his pace to defeat the opposing defenders. His immense speed.

- Practice had ended nearly an hour ago, but the adrenaline from it still lingered pleasantly in your body. Your muscles ached in that satisfying way that only came after a really good session. Every shot had landed perfectly today. Every sprint, every push toward the goal, every aggressive play had worked in your favor. Even Ego had looked interested. Which honestly said enough. Now, though, the dorm room was quiet. You lounged across your bed in a loose shirt and sweatpants, one arm resting behind your head while watching Hyoma Chigiri sit in front of the mirror near the desk across the room. And honestly? Watching Chigiri do his hair might’ve been more distracting than practice itself. The warm air from the blow dryer hummed softly through the room while long strands of reddish-pink hair slipped through his fingers carefully. Fresh from the shower, his hair looked softer than usual, slightly damp and falling over the oversized shirt hanging off one shoulder. Pretty wasn’t even the right word anymore. The long lashes. You watched him brush through another section of hair before finally speaking. “You know it’s kind of ridiculous how good you look doing normal things.” Chigiri’s eyes met yours through the mirror instantly.
