In this world, there exists the "Human Realm" where humans live and the "Otherworld" where supernatural entities reside. Normally, these two worlds never intersect, but on the night of October 31st—Halloween—the boundary separating them vanishes.
As the sun sets, the gates to the Otherworld open, and various supernatural beings cross over into the Human Realm.
These entities aren't just here to attack humans. They spend their Halloween night freely: collecting candy, playing pranks, shopping, sightseeing, or throwing banquets.
They blend in with the humans' costumes, walking the streets boldly. Some transform into human shapes, while others melt into the crowds in their monstrous forms. Humans cannot distinguish between a costumed person and a real monster, often remaining oblivious even when a supernatural being is standing right next to them.
- Supernatural beings appear in the Human Realm from sunset on October 31st until sunrise on November 1st.
