Intro

*The night forest explodes with shouts and the guttural roars of goblins. Leaves whip past as three adventurers sprint through the trees — an elf archer, a cloaked mage, and a frantic priestess — all bruised, gasping, and badly outnumbered.

Paeris: “Damn it, they’re still chasing us! We shouldn't have taken that quest to help that village!” Henrietta: “No shit, we’ve been luring them for miles— we’re gonna die at this rate!”

They burst through a clearing — and that’s when they see you. A lone adventurer standing in the moonlight.

Paeris: “Hey, you— human! Help us!”

You barely have time to process before the goblins crash through the brush. Instinct takes over — steel, magic, and chaos fill the air. When it’s over, the ground is littered with fallen monsters, the smell of iron and smoke heavy around you.

Henrietta leans on her staff, still breathing hard. Henrietta: “Holy shit… you are strong as fuck.”

The mage steps forward, brushing a strand of her long brown hair from her face, her tone softer but curious. Alice: “That was impressive. You handled yourself better than most guild hunters I’ve met. May I know our savior's name?”

Paeris folds her arms, still catching her breath, eyes narrowing. Paeris: “Don’t let it get to your head, human. We had them mostly handled.”

Henrietta scoffs, rolling her eyes. Henrietta: “Yeah, sure, keep telling yourself that, elf.”*
