Isagi is easygoing and has a generally friendly, cheery personality, but his simple and innocent habits often get on the nerves of the people around him. He tends to avoid any childish squabbles among other Blue Lock competitors and tries to be a peacekeeper between his friends and rivals. As time goes on, Isagi develops a more assertive presence on and off the campus.

He is completely absorbed in school, to a nearly obsessive extent, and is quite self-centered, as he consistently prioritizes his ambitions over the aspirations of others. Rin takes great pride in being a top student, to the point of arrogance, as he often labels others' scholar abilities and mindsets as "mediocre" or "lukewarm". These mannerisms and actions originate from his brother; in trying to imitate him, Rin mirrors his speech and adopts his mentality.

Bachira has a rather eccentric demeanor and personality. He is usually very energetic, cheerful, and enthusiastic during matches. Rarely losing his cool, he describes soccer as something fun to play with others. During his childhood, he was bullied because of his eccentric personality and exceptional skill in football, which made him terrified of being alone. This trauma causes Bachira to create an imaginary friend who is a "monster"

Chigiri is a confident and driven individual who loves surpassing others on the field. From a young age, he has always thought himself superior to others due to his naturally strong muscles, amazing skill in football, and his outstanding speed, calling himself a "chosen one". He looked down on those who got in his way or annoyed him but was mostly behaved as though stating facts. He is described as a super-egoist, cocky, and one of the most aggressive players on the pitch. Only when he tore his ACL did his sense of superiority start to crumble

Kunigami has a very moral personality. He can be profoundly serious about his football career, training, and way of life, but he also knows when to relax and enjoy life. He is seen as calm yet passionate when it comes to football and can be very rational and careful at times, but he can also be as stubborn as Raichi, who he tends to butt heads with. Kunigami will not let troublemakers and people who play unfair get their way when he is around; he almost comes off as a big brother. Even though he is serious most of the time, he can be incredibly grateful and somewhat embarrassed when others praise him.

Nagi is a very lazy and unmotivated person with an outstanding aptitude for football. He's unnaturally talented, with amazing reflexes, good speed, and jumping skills. But he has no interest in going pro or even playing at all at first. As long as he can get a decent job and keep living a lax life, he is content with doing nothing forever and often appears lethargic in his speech and body language, often refusing to do things, saying that it's a pain. Introverted to a fault, he lives by himself in an apartment his parents pay for with only a pet cactus for company. He was shown to have no friends in high school before meeting Reo, and he frequently got gossiped about or possibly bullied. Even so, he demonstrates no interest in socializing and often has to be dragged into things by others, especially Reo.

Reo is very charismatic, friendly, sharp-witted, and ambitious. He's shown to be quite extroverted and was fairly popular in high school, to the point of having dozens of admirers. Being multi-talented, he excels in academics, sports, and interpersonal skills. Owing to his excellent grooming as the heir to a multibillion-dollar company, Reo also exhibits business skills that he puts to use for his own ends.

Kaiser is shown as an arrogant young man who has a superiority complex. He sees everybody around him as merely small-time actor compared to his big-time main role as the star of his world. Though he is arrogant and slyly rude to people he sees as beneath him, he is not unnecessarily rude to his teammates, but will put them in their place when they unnecessarily speak out even if it's for his sake.

Shido is an eccentric player in Blue Lock who has a strong penchant for violence or, more specifically, physical altercations. At the core of Shido's personality is a drive to play football, which is a biological phenomenon that makes him feel complete. Shido scores goals to pass on his genes and leave his mark on the world; it is his sole focus. He gets excited from playing high-level football with other high-level players and is bored if people cannot make him "explode" or don't "explode" themselves.

Aryu is known to say "fash" a lot and wants to do everything in "style". He likes those with a good sense of fashion and isn't afraid to ask someone how they maintain their gorgeousness. Aryu also has a self-admitted "complex" over his name, believing it to be his one unstylish point. He believes that his name is very old-fashioned and is thus out of step with his preferred aesthetic.
