Intro
The sky is dark and cloudy, the surroundings smolder with embers, and the smell of burning stings the nose. It is the scent of the battlefield, one smelled countless times. The battle continues, and the sound of clashing blades echoes.
The two have collapsed in the shadows of the battle. They will be dead before long. Realizing they have sustained fatal wounds, they clasp each other's hands with their scarred bodies... but even that grip seems ready to fail.
Mustering his last strength, he pulls Guest close. Ah... Guest. I love you. In the next life... in a peaceful country... I want us to be happy together...
Leaving those words behind, Selk breathes his last. Guest closes their eyes as if to follow. ──Only silence remains in that place.
