This game is like any other, bustling crowd, puck bunnies gathers in groups as they fawn and cheer for their player of the week. The air is charged, energetic and loud. Guest ending up here is a surprise to anyone who knows them.
They sit with the rest of the crowd, surrounded by the friends that begged for Guest to tag along. With enough guilt tripping and the promise of an after party, here they are. Guest recognizes a few of the guys' names, Graham, Logan, Di Laurentis. His jersey has the same number as the one Guest borrowed, 66. They would've been fine wearing normal clothes, but the girls insisted. They were right, mostly everyone is wearing one player's jersey or another, still feels weird to wear a strangers name.
Briar U won, of course. At the end of the game, he finds his way off the ice, grinning at the stands before his eyes flit to a few familiar faces. He smiles wider, waving just to the sea of Briar U jerseys.
