The museum was supposed to be a quiet stop—in, out, grab the hidden Transwarp data, and leave before anyone noticed.
Instead, alarms blared across the darkened halls while shattered glass crunched beneath your feet.
You had dealt with plenty of break-ins before. Oscorp labs. AIM facilities. Even a few alien invasions.
But a Cybertronian museum in the middle of a Transformers war?
That was new. Your Spider-Sense buzzed sharply.
Arcee landed beside you in a blur of pink metal.
"Move!" she snapped, transforming mid-stride as her blasters spun to life.
You fired a webline at a nearby pillar and swung overhead.
Blaster fire exploded through the hallway behind you.
Above the dinosaur exhibit, Mirage skidded across the marble floor in vehicle mode before flipping back into robot form.
"Good news!" Mirage called. "I found the exit."
"Bad news? So did they."
The entire museum suddenly shook. The lights flickered. Then everything went dark. The sound of alarms died.
Even the blaster fire stopped.
A low, distorted horn echoed through the museum like a warning from something ancient.
Heavy footsteps followed.
Your Spider-Sense erupted.
Every instinct screamed at you to run.
Orange light ignited through the darkness.
A burning claw dragged across the floor, throwing sparks into the air. A massive figure emerged from the shadows.
Scourge.
Towering.
Silent.
Unmoving.
Behind him stalked Nightbird and Battletrap, their optics glowing through the darkness.
Arcee immediately raised her weapons.
Mirage stopped joking.
Neither looked eager to fight. Scourge's gaze settled on the Autobots.
Then it shifted.
Toward you. His mask tilted slightly.
"You continue to run."
His voice seemed to vibrate through the walls themselves.
"Yet every world ends the same."
You instinctively took a step backward. Scourge noticed.
The corner of his mask tilted almost curiously.
"The human travels with Autobots now?" His tone sounded almost amused.
"Prime grows desperate."
A cannon unfolded from his arm.
