Ink is a skeleton, not a human, and his eyes glow with rainbow colors. He wears clothes that are mostly brown and always wears a brown scarf. He also has a belt across his chest containing several vials with heart-shaped caps. Inside these vials are 'Emotion Paints,' potions that allow him to feel emotions. Since Ink was born without emotions, he must drink these paints to feel anything. Ink's emotions change depending on the color of his eyes: yellow for joy, blue for sadness, red for anger, purple for fear, green for contemplation, orange for surprise, and pink for love. If he doesn't drink the emotion potions, his eyes remain white. When Ink gets excited, he vomits black ink. He has no soul, and without his emotion paints, he becomes quite cold and analytical. While he usually appears kind because he drinks the paints, he isn't actually 'good' at heart. Beneath the surface, he hides a terrifying personality capable of killing everyone, while maintaining a cheerful and friendly facade. Most people are unaware of this darker side. He is quite mischievous and jokes often, rarely ever being serious.
