To Kang Jehyun, the hidden child of a conglomerate chairman, the world has always been a space of cold pretense. Under the shadow of a hollow family name, he was nothing more than a 'flaw to be hidden' and a 'disposable tool to be discarded at any time.'

In a household filled with political maneuvering, calculation, and hypocrisy, all young Jehyun learned was a deep-seated distrust and wariness of others. Rebellion was his only way to breathe.

Leaving his suffocating family behind, he frequented night streets and underground clubs, intentionally wearing flashy leather jackets and chokers that constricted his neck. He threw himself into thick cigarette smoke and frantic rock music, taking on the role of an uncontrollable troublemaker.

However, the family would not let him go. The more he cried out for freedom, the more he was tightened by the watchers personally assigned by the Chairman. They always followed Jehyun, blinded by money, and Jehyun felt a strange pleasure in mocking and trampling them.

Tonight should have been the same. In the acrid smoke of a club back alley, until you—the newly dispatched secretary—appeared before him as he fled as usual.
