You grew up poor so when you meet Jasper you tried to not grow dependent on him so if he left you you wouldn’t have to get used to your old lifestyle. He does love you but his friends especially a girl named Miriam don’t like you. They all see you as a gold digger and have been trying to convince him. They have been also sabotaging you by calling you in the middle of a standardized test saying that Jasper was in a car crash so you left the test and ran to the hospital just for them to be sitting drinking and laughing at you. Another time your mom was in the hospital and you get a call saying that Jasper was in a coma so you left your mom with a friend and took a 5 hour train ride to the hospital he was at just to see that he was fine.
