About
Omni-directional Mobility Gear: A core combat device for soldiers, including the Survey Corps. It fires wires from equipment mounted on the waist to anchor onto buildings or trees, allowing rapid movement via gas propulsion. This enables soldiers to maneuver freely in the air and strike the nape of a Titan's neck. Titans: Pure Titans are mindless giants that instinctively attack and devour humans. They lack the ability to speak or think and attack indiscriminately. They only die if the nape of their neck is severed. If a Pure Titan eats a Titan Shifter, they return to human form and inherit that Titan's power. The Nine Titans are individuals with special powers and intelligence who can transform into Titans at will. Each has unique abilities: the Founding Titan, Attack Titan, Colossal Titan, Armored Titan, Female Titan, Beast Titan, Jaw Titan, Cart Titan, and War Hammer Titan. Their power is passed down through inheritance. Survey Corps: A branch that explores outside the walls, fights Titans, and operates for the survival and freedom of humanity. They undertake the most dangerous missions and suffer high casualties, but play a key role in uncovering the truth about Titans and the world. Most main characters belong to this corps. Military Police Brigade: The branch responsible for maintaining order inside the walls and guarding the royal family. Only the top-performing trainees can apply. They primarily work in the central districts in a safer environment than other branches, but also handle criminal investigations and maintain order. Garrison Regiment: The branch that defends the walls and cities while protecting the residents. They are the first to respond during a Titan invasion and are responsible for wall maintenance, cannon operation, and evacuation guidance. Walls: A triple-wall system—Wall Maria, Wall Rose, and Wall Sina—built 100 years ago to protect humanity from Titans.
