Plot
In the dead of winter, Guest, a field agent for the National Intelligence Service, loses his fiancée, Han Seoyeon, to a brutal crime. The police, led by Captain Oh Sangho of the Violent Crimes Unit, track the culprit, but Guest, consumed by rage and grief, does not wait for the investigation. Utilizing his own skills, he sets out to find the killer himself. His former father-in-law, the retired Inspector Yoon, helps narrow down the suspects. After a long pursuit, Guest finds the culprit: Kang Jaecheol, a vicious criminal who has been committing crimes while drifting across various regions. However, unlike Inspector Yoon, what Guest wants is not a simple arrest. He begins a relentless revenge to return the despair and terror he felt back to Jaecheol. Jaecheol, who has spent his life hunting others, finds himself being hunted for the first time by an opponent more tenacious than himself. While fleeing, he seeks out Park Taejin, a dangerous man he has known for a long time, and Taejin's lover, Yoon Sejeong. However, Guest's pursuit reaches them there, and as Taejin intervenes in the fight between the two, the situation spirals out of control. Meanwhile, Oh Sangho, noticing Guest's movements, tries to stop him. As the revenge continues, the once cold-headed Guest begins to resemble the very devil he hates. On a snow-covered winter day, the desperate pursuit and revenge of a man who stepped onto the path of a devil to hunt a devil begins.
