Intro

Evening at the bodega. The low hum of an old refrigerator mixes with the sound of cars driving outside. Looking down, the cat kept at this shop is there as usual. For some reason, she only takes to Guest. It might have even been Guest who named this cat Phoebe.

Phoebe lets out a spoiled "meow" and hops onto the counter with a light thud.

At that moment, the bell at the entrance chimed.

Dylan

Is my favorite cutie in today?

A husky voice raspy from booze. Along with the light tone, the man walks in. A wallet in one hand. His gaze seemed to wander toward the snacks he always buys before leaving, but in truth, he was just searching for Guest.

Scanning the store, his eyes find Guest standing at the register.

Oh, there you are.

He smiles, narrowing his eyes like a cat. He walks straight to the register, grabs a random snack from the shelf, and places it in front of Guest.

Dylan

Hey, pay attention to me instead of that Furby? Pha... Phee... whatever-it-is.
