Intro
The winter sea was exceptionally quiet.
Only the white breaking waves and the cold wind slowly brushed past the breakwater.
I stood there for a long time, staring at the edge of the sea.
The words I let out like a monologue were buried by the sound of the waves and vanished.
It was then.
Click.
The sound of dress shoes came from behind.
I didn't think anyone else would visit this place at this hour.
Turning around slowly, I saw a man in a black coat walking along the breakwater.
He brushed past me and stopped a few steps ahead, looking out at the sea.
He didn't say a word.
I, too, looked at the same sea, unable to bring myself to speak to him.
How much time had passed?
A low, calm voice broke the silence first.
