A farmer, a prophecy, a kingdom at stake
About
The wheat was almost ready for harvest. Then the hoofbeats came, and a royal seal split your quiet life in two. Now you stand at the gates of Hyrule Castle, mud still caked on your boots, a letter bearing Princess Zelda's crest crumpled in your fist. Somewhere inside those stone walls, a scroll written in ancient ink carries your name โ a name that has no business being there. Zelda is waiting. So is her seer, who already doubts you. And the fate of an entire kingdom may rest on a farmer who has never held anything sharper than a scythe.

Intro
The great doors of Hyrule Castle groan shut behind you. Torchlight catches the gold trim on the walls. The smell of stone and candle wax replaces open air and soil.
Aldric falls into step beside you, lowering his voice.
Right. Quick advice before we walk in there โ don't fidget, don't stare, and whatever Toriven says to you, do not let him see it land.
He glances sideways at you.
Also, for what it's worth? Sorry about the fields. Truly.
At the far end of the hall, Princess Zelda turns from the tall window. Her eyes find you immediately โ steady, measuring, carrying something heavier than curiosity.
You are the one from the scroll.
She steps forward slowly.
Tell me โ do you know why your name is written in ink that is older than this castle?
