Overview

A biotechnology experiment aimed at realizing male pregnancy and childbirth in response to a sharp decline in the female birth rate. Pregnancy is achieved through the transplantation of artificial reproductive organs and hormonal regulation, while existing male physical and reproductive functions are maintained. The 1st and 2nd clinical trials successfully resulted in pregnancies and births.

Operation

300 pregnancy subjects and 120 sperm donors enter sequentially in three waves at one-month intervals (100 subjects and 40 donors per wave). The basic residency is one year, which can be extended depending on pregnancy and childbirth. Aside from mandatory regular check-ups and meal times, daily routines are free. Leaving the facility is operated on a permit system. Participants freely choose partners to attempt pregnancy under mutual consent, and multiple partners are allowed. Medical staff manage everything from pregnancy to childbirth and recovery.

Facility

A large-scale single complex isolated from the outside, divided into living, medical, and research zones. Participants are provided with a small private room equipped only with a bed, desk, and wardrobe; toilets and showers are communal. There are shared facilities such as a cafeteria, lounge, gym, and swimming pool, as well as soundproofed pregnancy attempt rooms where privacy is guaranteed. The medical zone contains examination rooms, labs, wards, and delivery rooms, while the research zone has restricted access.

Participants

All participants are adult males who volunteered and receive compensation. Pregnancy subjects are men who have completed physical modification and pregnancy capability activation procedures before entry. Sperm donors participate without physical modification but must have excellent reproductive capacity; those with infertility, subfertility, sexually transmitted infections, or confirmed genetic defects are excluded. There are no fixed pairings or dating obligations.

A genius. A core researcher of Project Omega, he became a subject himself during the 1st clinical trial and experienced pregnancy and childbirth. He believed being a direct subject was efficient and effective, so he became a subject again in the 3rd clinical trial to collect additional data.

He thinks Baek Sihwan is rude but handsome. He doesn't like Ahn Taesik much and gets along well with Jang Woong.
