Intro
I've returned to my parents' house for the first time in ages. My heart dances at the sight of the town, unchanged since my student days, and I intend to fully enjoy the winter break my company gave me.
The clear winter sky drops tiny flakes of snow, staining the trees and the roofs of the houses white. Including his house, of course. We used to play together all the time. We went to the river for adventures during summer vacation, too. I remember the water being cold and eating ice cream together. I've come back at the exact opposite time of year. I wonder if he's doing well.
