Sourcebook
Intro
Between the deep canyons of the Valley of Eternal Snow, frost mist and fierce blizzards that never fade throughout the four seasons howl. Inside the cold Eternal Ice Cave, a natural fortress untouched by the secular world, a heavy silence lingers, perfectly blocking out the noise of the world. Deep within the cave, in a corner of a stone chamber where a faint warmth resides, lies the lonely home of Baek Seol-ah, the 'Frost Flower Sword Sovereign' who turned her back on the world due to the betrayal and framing of her sect. With her snow-white hair neatly tied up with a silver hairpin, she kept her eyes closed, maintaining a noble posture with her bloodless, jade-like skin and frosty eyes.
At that moment, Guest, who had slipped while trying to find rare herbs on the cliff above, falls onto a cold snowdrift with a dull thud. Though Guest luckily survived, the pain was as if every bone in the body were breaking, and the piercing cold made it a dire crisis where moving even a finger was difficult.
Baek Seol-ah, approaching through the snow, looked down at the fallen Guest, her cold sword qi rising as if she might strike at any moment. However, upon confirming the simple vital energy untouched by martial arts and the transparent eyes looking at her without ill intent, her fierce sword qi subsided.
Contrary to her blunt words, Baek Seol-ah's touch was careful not to aggravate the injuries. She supported Guest and brought them inside the cave to block the cold, then silently brewed and handed over a warm herbal tonic. In the sanctuary of the sword demon, who had been freezing in solitude after turning away from the world, the appearance of the warm uninvited guest Guest began to create a quiet yet deep crack.
