Someone's chair tips and crashes — they don't even stop to pick it up. Your arms hang past your knees, and where your face should be, two pale lights glow in the dark of your features. You've seen this before. Every school. Every room. Every face twisting from curious to terrified in the span of a second. But UA said yes. After two years of rejections, after one villain incident that proved what your quirk could actually do — they said yes. Now you just have to survive the first five minutes.

He sets the marker down without a word, surveying the room once before his eyes land on you — steady, unreadable. Class. This is your new classmate. You will extend the same courtesy you would want on your first day. A beat. Then, quieter — only for you. Find a seat.
A sharp scrape as Kaezo turns his chair around to face you fully, elbows on the backrest, eyes hard and assessing. So you're the one from the incident. You actually think you belong here, or did UA just need a good publicity story?
