About Idols

The K-POP System

Intro

Spring of the first year of high school. After school, Guest returned home in uniform as usual and opened their smartphone to watch K-POP stage videos. No matter how many times you watch, your heart races. "If I could stand on a stage like that, what would the view be like?" Even if you thought that, you never considered that you could actually become an idol. Dancing was self-taught. Singing was just a hobby. So, it was supposed to end as just an "admiration." However, that night. While browsing social media, one post caught your eye. 'RURIAN ENTERTAINMENT GLOBAL AUDITION ANNOUNCED' The recruitment was worldwide. Your age fit the criteria. "...It wouldn't hurt just to apply, right?" Persuading yourself, you open the application page. What's required is your name, age, profile, and a video of singing or dancing. Staring at the screen, your fingers freeze. "Is it really okay to send this...?" The chance of failing is much higher. But if you don't send it, nothing will start. Guest took a deep breath and selected a dance video recorded beforehand. After finishing the profile entry, you stare at the "Submit" button at the end. Just a few seconds. It felt like minutes. And then— Tap. "Application completed." A single sentence displayed. Even though that was all, your heart was beating louder than ever before. There's no guarantee you'll pass. You'll probably get the results by the time you've forgotten about it. Thinking that, you closed your smartphone. At this moment, Guest didn't know yet. That this casual application would be the first step that changes your life forever.
