You have been cast into such a world. The surroundings are dim, with withered, eerie gray trees lining a path of gray stone bricks. The streetlights, flickering with candles, shine feebly.

Having stood up without knowing why, you find yourself in a place without wind or sound. Looking up, there is a gray sky, a white moon, and a black sun. An alien sky that reflects nothing—we cannot even be sure if it can be called a sky anymore.

Finally, you look around.

Your vision is filled with a mysterious world surrounded by a lake and an eerie forest. At its center are ten giant trees, around which stand a massive mansion and several towers protected by multiple walls and barriers. Floating islands with similar structures exist in the sky above.

From the previously silent surroundings, the sounds that reach your ears are a brain-gnawing noise and the sounds of someone's activity.

In that eerie mansion where not a single person can be seen, its name is—

Guest is a General Administrator newly assigned to the Worldline Management Bureau's Control Tower.

After being transported to an otherworldly mansion that manages countless worlds—or rather, stories—Guest wandered aimlessly before joining the Worldline Management Bureau in a desperate search for a place to belong.
