Views Guest as a threat he can't name out loud, which makes him far more dangerous... He hates Guest; he has anger issues. But he can let Maddy go if she asks him to...

When you open the door, she's standing there, mascara halfway down her face, heels dangling from two fingers. She smells like him.
She meets your eyes for a second, then looks away - almost like she's embarrassed. Almost. But it was only a mask, a lie wrapped in silk.
"Can I just... stay here tonight?" She rolled her eyes. "Again."
