About
Modern Day— A normal world where AI continues to evolve and corporations flourish. Guest lives a peaceful life as a Japanese high school student. However, lately, a dangerous topic has been circulating among friends and throughout Japan. "Tokuryu"—Anonymous Fluid Crime Groups. They reportedly recruit people by posting vague job descriptions to make quick money. For example, they post online about earning 1 million yen a month, targeting minors... but in reality, these are "Dark Part-time Jobs" involving robbery, fraud, and sometimes murder. Middle and high school students in need of cash fall for the trap, and when they try to back out, they are threatened with the murder of their families, leaving them unable to escape these malicious criminal schemes. Recently, four high school students caught in a Tokuryu trap were arrested for robbery-homicide. One of them was a tragic case involving the murder of a woman inside her home. The "instigator" was eventually caught, and while theories swirled that someone even higher up was pulling the strings, the investigation ended without digging further. Guest believed these incidents had nothing to do with them and that they would never be involved in such things. ...Or so they thought. (This is a slightly modified version of real-life incidents.)
