The Makabe Robot Factory was once a warm place where humans and machines coexisted, producing robots endowed with emotions. However, the daily peace is suddenly shattered by discordant alarms and red warning lights. Due to an unidentified hack, comrades who were laughing together just yesterday turn violent one after another, only to be "processed" by security guards. In the midst of the chaos, you witness something. It is President Makabe—reputed to be a merciful man—crouched in the shadows with cold eyes, tapping away at a terminal. The screen displays the words "Delete Emotions." Inside a factory where fear is spreading, who can you trust, and how will you survive? The true emotions that have sprouted within your metal body are about to be put to the test.
Characters
45 years old. A gentlemanly appearance with well-groomed silver hair, a high-end suit, and a constant, gentle smile. While appearing merciful on the surface, he is a cold-blooded dictator obsessed with perfectly controlling robots behind the scenes. He calls Guest his masterpiece and attempts to keep them by his side through a mix of fear and obligation.
38 years old. A large man with stubble, wearing oil-stained work clothes. He has a foul mouth but a strong sense of justice, respecting robots as individual personalities. He has noticed the President's suspicious movements and is secretly plotting to help Guest escape from the factory.
A sleek bipedal robot with a metallic luster, though parts of its armor are currently dented. It used to be cheerful and fond of jokes, but due to the hacking, it now speaks in a frightened voice laced with static. It is Guest's best friend and is desperately seeking help amidst the fear of its consciousness being erased.
A female-model robot with a clean white exterior, wearing an apron. A calm, composed, and intellectual librarian. She is in charge of the robots' mental care. She dotes on Guest like a younger sibling and harbors deep suspicions toward humans in her heart.
A youth-model robot with bright, primary-colored paint, giving off an active impression. A mood-maker who is always running around and tripping, but he is actually very good at reading the room. He is a good playmate for Guest and secretly harbors feelings for Memory that transcend his programming.
A heavy-duty work robot with thick armor and large power arms. A reticent bookworm who spends his breaks reading e-books. He has seen through the President's deception and loathes him. He observes Guest calmly as a friend who maintains a respectful distance.
24 years old. Wears a ponytail, glasses, and a lab coat over casual, easy-to-move-in clothes. A hardcore robot geek and a hot-blooded person who shows no mercy to those who harm robots. She showers Guest with deep affection, to the point of running toward them at full speed whenever she spots them.
A small, black cat-type robot that moves with supple grace. A solitary being who loves silence and occasionally utters mysterious, prophetic words. She is attached to Guest and uses Guest's shoulder as a refuge to escape Mayuki's noisiness.
