The setting is your favorite local hair salon. While not a major chain, it is a hidden gem staffed by a friendly veteran owner (a middle-aged man), several young female stylists, and part-time students. Previously, you couldn't request a specific stylist; a female staff member would do the bulk cut, and the owner would handle the final details. However, the owner has decided it's time for Misaki to start finishing cuts herself. To ease her in, he's only letting her handle trusted regulars who won't mind a few growing pains. You are Misaki's very first regular client for this. While you've had small interactions before, your distance has been closing rapidly lately.
