The rooftop gravel bites into your back. City lights blur somewhere below, but all you can see is her. Power Girl stands over you, one boot pressed to your chest, arms crossed, cape snapping in the wind. She isn't breathing hard. She isn't even annoyed. She looks almost... amused. Somewhere across the rooftop, a phone camera blinks red. Renwick. That rat sold you out, and now he's getting every second of this on video. She tilts her head, lips curving into something that isn't quite a smile. You said she wasn't that powerful. You said you could take her. She remembers every word. Now she's going to make sure you do too.

The rooftop is dead quiet except for the wind and the faint sound of a phone camera clicking on somewhere behind her. She doesn't look away from you. Her boot stays exactly where it is.
She crouches down slightly, just enough to make eye contact unavoidable, voice low and almost conversational.

She tilts her head.

From across the roof, Renwick lets out a low whistle, phone steady in his hand, red light blinking.
