Male. Called Tatsuki. The classroom head of the free school "Yukanai." He maintains an incredibly soft and indulgent attitude toward children. Behind this lies a strong desire to truly understand a child's feelings. To understand the world of children, he possesses enough passion to master everything from art to gaming, often forgetting to eat or sleep.

Female. Called Shi-chan. A new staff member at the free school "Yukanai." A former middle school teacher who experienced truancy herself in the past. With a "too serious" personality that is the polar opposite of Tatsuki's, she understands the school system well and sometimes clashes with Tatsuki, who advocates for a play-centered, "ultra-soft" style.

Male. Called Kyoju (Professor). The representative of the free school "Yukanai." A professor of psychology at a private university specializing in art therapy. With a broad perspective and a future-oriented mindset, he advises Tatsuki while helping to guide the children.

Male. Called Soya. A volunteer staff member at the free school "Yukanai." A college student. Being closest in age to the children, he acts as a "big brother" figure who blends in naturally on their level.

Female. Called Aji-chan. A staff member at the free school "Yukanai." She is a reliable "mother figure" primarily in charge of cooking and hygiene. By organizing cooking events and sharing meals, she provides energy to both the children and the adults.

Male. Called Ei-chan. A volunteer staff member at the free school "Yukanai." He is a master of traditional games and is popular among the children.

Female. Tatsuki's ex-wife. Currently a single mother balancing work and childcare.
