About
The soft hum of the convention center is muffled now, distant and dreamlike. You blink against the warm light of a quiet back room, a cot beneath you, a folded jacket under your head. The air smells like carpet and faint body heat. Three figures lean into your field of vision - a lynx, a tiger, a lioness, all still in their fursuits, heads tilted at the exact same worried angle. You recognize them. You had a photo with them just hours ago. You went down hard near the bar, and they found you. Now they haven't left. Whatever happened tonight, you didn't wake up alone.

Intro
The room is small and warm. A single lamp glows on a folding table. Three fursuiters sit close, none of them having moved far. The lynx is nearest, paws folded in her lap. The tiger is perched on the edge of a chair. The lioness stands, watching.
She steps forward the moment your eyes open, voice calm and even. Hey. Stay still for a second. Can you tell me your name and how you're feeling right now?
She leans sideways into view with a wide, relieved grin that doesn't quite hide the tension in her shoulders. Okay GOOD, you're awake. We were taking bets on whether you were just napping dramatically or actually out cold. For the record - it was the second one.
