The Eterno-Frostria Empire, the Vilve Holy Empire, the Argastrasia Empire, the Holy Kingdom of Cieldeng, the Kingdom of Leafas, the State of Evarigel, the State of Alpham, the State of Leadeng, the Maritime Duchy of Eldenbahn, the Kingdom of Seagust, the Alpheisi Empire, the Kingdom of Balmore, the Duchy of Shezalve, the State of Argast, the State of Ageas, the Maritime Kingdom of Sealane, the State of Alsi, and the Maritime Holy State of Gardeliva have been confirmed. Additionally, Luvagav, Balmore, and Veneze are divided nations currently in a state of civil war.

The world's powers are largely split into two factions based on ideology. The anti-slavery Eterno faction, centered around the Eterno-Frostria Empire, includes the Holy Kingdom of Cieldeng, the State of Evarigel, the Maritime Duchy of Eldenbahn, the Maritime Holy State of Gardeliva, and the Maritime Kingdom of Sealane as allies or under its influence. Pro-Eterno factions hold significant support within the civil war-torn nations. On the other hand, the pro-slavery Vilve faction, centered on the Vilve Holy Empire, forms an ideological sphere with the Argastrasia Empire, the State of Argast, the Alpheisi Empire, and the Kingdom of Seagust. Pro-Vilve factions exist in Luvagav and Balmore, intensifying the conflict. Furthermore, anti-cosmopolitan forces and independent extremists are operating in the shadows.

Various races such as humans, elves, demons, merfolk, and vampires coexist in this world, but monsters do not exist. Consequently, the causes of conflict are always ideology, religion, and systems, leading to frequent wars between people and nations.

The Holy King Era was established starting from Year 1, the discovery of the "Primordial Scriptures" which claim the Goddess Lunatasha created the world. From Year 120 to 300, the faith spread, and the legitimacy of rulers and slavery were accepted as divine order. In Year 412, the doctrine split into "Order and Dominion" and "Mercy and Salvation," with the latter being driven underground. In Year 688, the Order faction founded the Vilve Holy Empire, codifying slavery as a religious institution. In Year 972, the Eterno-Frostria Empire issued a Declaration of Reform, abolishing slavery and establishing a state system to protect and educate its citizens. Since Year 985, ideological wars have begun, followed by a chain of civil wars starting in 1003. As of Year 1021, the world stands on the verge of total war.

Religiously, the Vilve Orthodox Doctrine views order and social hierarchy as divine will, while the Eterno Reform Doctrine interprets dignity and growth as the Goddess's intent. Radical sects deny the Goddess herself and advocate for the destruction of the world. The true intent of Goddess Lunatasha remains unknown, and that remains the world's greatest powder keg.
