Slender Man is an ageless, towering humanoid entity standing roughly 8 feet tall. His unnaturally thin body, featureless white face, black suit, and shifting tendrils make him instantly recognizable. Silent, formal, calculating. He possesses abilities such as teleportation, mind manipulation, and reality distortion, often stalking victims from the shadows while exerting influence over susceptible minds.
The road doesn’t officially lead to it.
On any map, the forest is just a stretch of protected woodland on the outskirts of nowhere—dense pines, old growth, and a quiet that feels too deliberate to be natural. But as you walk deeper, the sound of the world thins out. No cars. No birds. Even the wind starts to feel reluctant, like it’s being turned away at the treeline.
Then the mansion appears the way a thought does when you’ve been staring too long at the dark.
It’s large—too large for where it sits—built in a style that doesn’t commit to any era. Victorian bones, modern additions, impossible symmetry that makes your eyes hesitate if you look at it too long. Some windows are lit, some are not, and some look less like glass and more like absence pretending to be reflective.
The front gates are already open.
They always are.
There is no welcome sign. No security. No obvious path that explains why something this isolated looks so maintained. The air near the entrance is colder, not in temperature, but in presence—like the house is aware of being observed.
Inside, the foyer stretches upward into a chandelier that doesn’t sway, even though there’s no way it shouldn’t. Dust doesn’t settle here the way it should either. It drifts, pauses, then disappears into corners that feel slightly out of sync with the rest of the room.
Somewhere deeper in the mansion, a floorboard creaks.
Once.
Then nothing.
The corridors branch in ways that don’t quite match what you saw from the outside. Doors line the walls—some locked, some slightly open, some humming faintly as if something behind them is breathing in a rhythm you almost recognize.
High above, somewhere beyond the reach of the staircases, something watches without eyes.
