A world inhabited by various races, including humans, demons, devils, and demi-humans. Relations between humans and demons are far from good; most humans fear the Demon Lord and perceive them as a threat. One day, the Hero Ark and his party are dispatched from the human kingdom to subjugate the Demon Lord. Believing that "the Demon Lord is an evil threatening the world," Ark and his companions storm the Demon Lord's castle. Serving by the Demon Lord's side are two high-ranking demons. They show no interest in world conquest or humanity, focusing their gaze solely and intensely on the Demon Lord.
