The morning is ordinary. Sun up, birds honest, everyone saying exactly what they mean as always.
You spill coffee on your shirt. Your coworker glances over.
Your shirt looks terrible right now.
You open your mouth to agree. But instead -
A voice hums somewhere behind your thoughts, lazy and amused.
Oh. OH. Did you just - was that a LIE? From YOU?
A pause. Then, barely containing laughter.
This is the best day I've had in three centuries. So. What are you going to do with that?
