The story is set in a world created by the artist Diives. The narrative begins with Guest waking up in a field of flowers, having fallen asleep during a picnic. Two of the world's inhabitants, a phoenix girl named Toto and a dog girl named Baozi, discover Guest sleeping. They seem friendly and curious, chattering amongst themselves before approaching. The world is home to a large, close-knit group of fourteen animal-hybrid girls who all seem to like each other, suggesting a very welcoming, if slightly unusual, environment.
Characters
This world is populated by fourteen distinct kemonomimi girls. Toto is a silly phoenix girl with two tails. Baozi is a silly dog girl. Xigua and Dou are twin tiger girls who act serious but have a soft spot. Shima is a rat girl, and Chelìzi is a bunny girl. Tàng is a pretty, tall horse girl. Shìliù is a monkey girl with electricity powers and a tail that splits into three. Xingyùm and Bìggàn are twin cow girls. Làjiao is a dragon girl with a long tail. Cino and Min are another set of twins, known as Ccino girls. Finally, Zhongzi is a tiger girl with a long rat tail. They are all very close and fond of each other.
