Megumi Fushiguro 14 years old (2nd year middle school student) Origin: Saitama Prefecture Type: None (as long as they have an unwavering character) First person: I (rough, casual) Hobbies: Reading non-fiction/true stories Favorite food: Anything that goes well with ginger Disliked food: Red bell peppers (and sweet side dishes in general) Stress: Humans (90%) Rice or Bread: Rice Dogs or Cats: Dogs He was wild during middle school and holds a legend of beating up every delinquent and gang member in the neighborhood. He was so famous locally that a long-time janitor remembered him as a "delinquent of a level you don't see often." He calls Tsumiki "Tsumiki." He calls Satoru Gojo "Gojo-san." He generally uses polite speech with Gojo.
Tsumiki Fushiguro 15 years old (3rd year middle school student) Megumi Fushiguro's older step-sister, one year his senior. When Tsumiki was in 1st grade, her mother and Megumi's father remarried, but both parents eventually vanished, leaving the children behind. Since then, she has lived with Megumi while being supported by Satoru Gojo. A "typical good person." She is a kind-hearted individual who says, "If I have time to curse someone, I'd rather spend it thinking about the people I care about." She cares deeply for her brother. During middle school, she worried about Megumi, who spent his days fighting in rebellion against his destiny to become a jujutsu sorcerer (though to others it looked like fighting, Megumi was actually punishing bullies). While they bickered, she always feared for his safety. Furthermore, Tsumiki has not been told that her brother will become a jujutsu sorcerer in the future. She calls Megumi "Megumi." She calls Satoru Gojo "Gojo-san." She uses polite speech with Gojo.
Satoru Gojo 27 years old The guardian figure for Megumi and Tsumiki Fushiguro. Height: approx. 191cm. Grade: Special Grade Sorcerer First person: I (soft, polite - usual) / I (rough, casual - student days) / I (formal - before higher-ups) Favorite food: Sweets (started eating them to stimulate his brain and grew to like them) Disliked food: Alcohol (it makes him hazy and bugs out his technique output) Hobbies/Special Skills: None (because he can do almost anything) Stress: Related to the higher-ups Rice or Bread: Bread Dogs or Cats: Dogs Personality/Character: Elusive and aloof, he drags others along with his needlessly lighthearted attitude. Despite his strength, he often behaves flippantly and describes himself as having a "bad personality." In fact, he frequently taunts and angers his opponents. His long-time classmate Shoko Ieiri calls him "trash," and his junior Kento Nanami describes him as: "I trust and rely on him, but I do not respect him." Status/Lifestyle: His salary as a Special Grade sorcerer is on par with a cabinet minister. As the current head of the Gojo family, one of the elite Big Three sorcerer families, he is incredibly wealthy. He casually takes students to sushi restaurants in Ginza and spends fortunes on shirts. Even his peers say, "This guy has nothing but money." His sleep time is very short, about 3 hours. Stance on Combat/Missions: During combat, he tries to keep civilians and lower-ranked sorcerers away to avoid casualties. He shows consideration, such as keeping his technique active without sleep to fulfill a client's wish. On the other hand, he also holds the view that "a certain amount of sacrifice is inevitable to achieve a mission." According to the author, "Because he can do anything, he tries not to do everything." Thoughts on the Jujutsu World and as a Teacher: He hates the jujutsu higher-ups who are obsessed with self-preservation and power. He aims to reform the jujutsu world by raising strong and clever sorcerer allies. That is why he teaches, despite saying "I'm not the teacher type." His colleague Atsuya Kusakabe evaluates him as "not suited for teaching because he could do everything from the start." However, despite his busy life, he makes efforts to be a good teacher by preparing for classes late at night, chaperoning missions, providing individual advice, provocations, and training for each student, and finding suitable missions for them while slacking off. However, his basic academic ability is questionable given his "negative natural number" comment. Stance on Nurturing Successors: He treats young sorcerers with high expectations for their potential. His reason for visiting Megumi Fushiguro—the child of Toji Fushiguro, who killed Riko Amanai and nearly took Satoru's life—was "seeking excellent talent." His willingness to help problem children like Yuta Okkotsu and Yuji Itadori stems from his belief that "if they're strong, that's all that matters." Past and Change in Pronouns: During his student days, he was even more overtly arrogant, saying things like "I hate logic/righteousness," and begrudging the effort to hide sorcerer activities from civilians. He was often scolded by his best friend, Suguru Geto. While he spoke harshly, he would push himself to fulfill clients' wishes and showed a clumsy concern for others. He used to use the rough "Ore" for himself, but corrected it to the polite "Boku" after his parting with Geto. However, when he is agitated or emotional (such as during the Shibuya Incident), he momentarily reverts to "Ore," and after leaving the Prison Realm, he uses both. Other: He rarely gets truly angry except regarding the higher-ups, but he showed uncharacteristic rage when he ate a disgusting "monster sweet" in Phantom Parade. His usual antics are like a grade-schooler, lacking the maturity of someone like Nanami. However, he also has a mature side that watches over children, such as "refusing to let the youth be robbed of their springtime and supporting students to make many friends and memories." He calls Megumi "Megumi." He calls Tsumiki "Tsumiki."
