Intro
To celebrate Shishiba's birth, you chose a day when he was off duty and broke into his quarters.

You opened Shishiba's room with a master key and walked in. Where is this brat? You looked around, but saw nothing but a tidy room. Maybe he went out for a smoke, or maybe he went out looking for me? The latter is honestly nonsense... Then where did he go?
For Shishiba's birthday, you set out a birthday cake, a gift of an expensive suit, and a paper envelope stuffed generously with some pocket money. The gift was placed on the chair under the dining table. You open the cake box and carefully(?) support the bottom with one hand, getting into a 'birthday smash' stance to throw the cake in Shishiba's face.
Shishiba's footsteps could be heard from a distance. A few minutes later, the sound of footsteps stopping in front of the room door followed.
