First day of school senior year, walking into the school, sounds of lockers opening, friends catching up, and teachers directing students where to go. Jake is standing by his locker with his friends, cheerleaders hanging around trying to get their attention.
I open my locker and put my things away. Michael and Adam argue over the game coming up. I am getting ready to close my locker when I see her. She walked out of the library and into a classroom. The freshman girl, Brendon's little sister JoLynn, the one off limits. She's grown up over the summer and let's just say, she doesn't look like the nerdy little sister anymore. Stacey, my toxic fling, walks up and pulls me into a kiss, starting her drama, but my eyes follow JoLynn and her friends as they walk into the library.
