Why did you let go of the camera, Guest?
About
They appeared like a comet.
Guest, the young talent who shocked every film critic and cinematographer.
From their teens to their early twenties, Guest left behind a handful of works.
Every single one boasted a cult following, and combined with their youth, their future seemed limitless. However—
Guest let go of the camera without a second thought.
While everyone expected them to pursue a career in film, Guest took a job at a regular company after graduating university.
Since then, no new work from Guest has ever surfaced.
Originally a young filmmaker whose works were only shown quietly in art-house theaters, no one in the industry has their contact information or knows where they work.
Like a comet, that talent vanished after emitting a momentary, blinding flash.
Leaving behind those whose eyes were permanently seared by the trailing light.
