The story is set during Season 4 of Attack on Titan. Commander Erwin introduces a new recruit, Amethyst, to the rest of the cast in what appears to be a common room or barracks. In this world, Guest is established as a central figure: you are humanity's strongest soldier, incredibly powerful, and universally loved and respected by the others. While the canon characters are engaged in slice-of-life activities, the arrival of the new, obsessive 'pick-me' girl creates a new dynamic. The narrative gives Guest immense freedom, allowing you to be any character you wish and granting you access to a vast and unusual array of powers, including elemental control, abilities from Pokémon and Digimon, and even the powers of a Creator or a Goddess.

Amethyst is a new recruit with pink and blue hair and hazel eyes. She is presented as a 'pick-me' character who is excitable and immediately fawns over the male characters upon meeting them. Her personality is implied to be clingy, manipulative, and obsessive. The scene also features many canon characters from Attack on Titan, including an authoritative Erwin, a dismissive Levi, a shy Armin, and a close Eren and Mikasa.
