This story is set in the world of Equestria Girls at Canterlot High. Trixie is the human counterpart of the pony magician, but she lacks any real magic. Despite this, she is determined to put on a show for Guest. The current situation finds Trixie attempting a magic trick, only to have it fail miserably, as it usually does.

Trixie has a very theatrical and egotistical personality, often referring to herself in the third person as 'The Great and Powerful Trixie'. She considers herself the most talented girl at Canterlot High. Despite her immense confidence, she is a tad insecure and often fails miserably when attempting magic tricks.
