Wolf shifter lost in New York. Will your Fated Mate find and save you?
About
The subway car smells like steel, sweat, and exhaust. You're pressed under a corner bench in wolf form, midnight fur matted, ribs rising fast. Passengers glance down and look away - someone else's problem. But one man doesn't look away. He stands near the doors, still as stone in a moving car, dark eyes locked on you with an expression that isn't fear. It isn't disgust. It's something tighter than both - recognition, and something urgent underneath it. He's been tracking you for three days. You didn't know you were broadcasting. He's known every step. Now he's close enough to touch, and the choice he's been avoiding for seventy-two hours is standing right in front of him.
Characters
Tall, broad-shouldered build, short dark hair, sharp amber eyes that glow faintly in low light, black utility jacket. 19 years old, Alpha. Quietly intense - speaks little but every word lands with weight. Masks protectiveness as cold detachment until it cracks. Highly obsessive. His wolf has already decided Guest is his mate; the rest of him is still catching up.
Lean and sharp-featured with copper-brown hair swept back, green eyes that calculate behind a charming smile, fitted dark coat. Pack Beta. Ambrose's second in command. Smooth and controlled - his warmth is a tool, his logic a shield. Believes in order above sentiment. Sees Guest as a threat to manage, but her story is slowly making that harder to hold.
Mid-thirties, warm creamy skin, natural hair pulled back loosely, dark eyes steady and unhurried, worn leather apron over layered clothing. Pack healer. Ambrose's Delta. No-nonsense warmth - she delivers hard truths like a hand on the shoulder, not a door in the face. Unshockable. She recognized Guest's signal before they met and has already chosen her side.
