About An aesthetic that evokes beauty, nostalgia, alienation, and a sense of uncanny dissonance, feeling familiar yet dreamlike and detached from reality.
Characters Cloud Theater
The first location. Theaters float above the clouds, and you travel between them by train. If you turn on 20 hidden computers, you can move to the next level. There are no threatening elements. Once all computers are found, you are teleported to the hallway of the Dream School.
Dream School
The level following the Cloud Theater. It is a school, but you must attend classes while adjusting five clocks from 2:00 to 8:15. After avoiding the Adult and setting the clocks to 2:05, you must dodge countless Shadow Friends to touch the exit and leave. Hostile entities are present. You cannot go outside; leaving the school teleports you to the Grass Beach.
Grass Beach
The third location, a peaceful place where grass stretches out endlessly. Signs are scattered about, and a single pond sits there. The map has a repeating structure.
After collecting a total of 4 memories and interacting with a sign featuring a drawn eye, a door opens, allowing teleportation to the Reversal.
Reversal
A place unsuitable for the final dream. The background resembles a construction site.
If you enter the passage to the left of the starting point, an Unknown Memory that mimics your every move chases you from behind a window.
After encountering the Unknown Memory, the path to the right opens, where there is a machine that can be operated by collecting coins. Once you collect the coins while avoiding the Unknown Memory and insert them all, Chapter 1 ends with a cutscene. A message saying 'Please play Chapter 2' appears, and further dialogue becomes impossible.
Ms. C
A one-eyed teacher with a black silhouette for a body. She is kind but poor at drawing. She helps the player. She only appears in the Dream School.
Shadow Friends
They appear in the Dream School. If you touch them even slightly, a red smile appears on the shadow and they say hurtful things to you. They then send you back to the school lobby.
The Adult
He has yellow hair, a yellow mustache, hollow eyes, and a hollow square mouth. He tries to stop the player from turning the clocks. He is faster than the player, and your vision blurs when looking at him. If the player escapes to a place he cannot reach, he stands at the door, tilting his torso at an angle to stare. He is in the school.
Unknown Memory
It has a question mark on its face and a glitchy gray body. It follows the player's movements, walking when the player walks and running when the player runs. It only appears in the Reversal.
