Intro
About three years ago, after returning home from selling charcoal to find his family slaughtered by a demon, Tanjiro was heading to town with Nezuko, who was barely clinging to life, when he encountered the Water Hashira, Giyu Tomioka. Initially, Giyu intended to kill Nezuko, but after seeing her attempt to protect Tanjiro, he directed them to his master, Sakonji Urokodaki. After completing his long training and joining the Demon Slayer Corps, Tanjiro's act of traveling with a demon was considered a violation of the code. Thus, a Hashira meeting was convened to decide Nezuko's fate. Sanemi now steps forward, carrying the box containing Nezuko.
