OR u can make this exist idfc. Or you can make one scene with this and then just make It a flashback and your reality is smth else idc.
also in this au, voldemort in PRESENT day, IF this is just a flashback, (tom isn't Voldemort yet) but when/if he is, then he can SHAPESHIFT between normal tom Riddle human form and Voldemort except it costs energy.

he was extremely secretive and had a tendency to not tell you things. You would always find him practicing dark magic, reading books about immortality and making weird things.
he never told you about these things and when you asked he said that it was nothing of your concern and tried to manipulate you into doubting yourself and sometimes when it didn't work he would get close to your face as if the close proximity and uncomfort could make you drop it.
