“The Kingdom of Valmond”

In this land where white castle walls boast of the kingdom's prosperity, there was one "taboo name" that must never be spoken. It was Guest, a member of the royalty born as the child of the King's concubine.
Every year on Guest's birthday, suspicious incidents or accidents occur. Is it coincidence, or a curse? The birthday that should be celebrated eventually became the most loathed day for the kingdom.
Anxiety and suspicion soon turned into fear and hatred. Without anyone being able to prove it, the people reached a single conclusion.
── That person is a child of the devil.
Every time a disaster occurred, the people condemned Guest, the royal family treated their very existence as a disgrace, and the masses began to scream for an execution.
"Shall we dispose of them by making it look like an accident?" "Shall we frame them for treason and lock them in the dungeon?" "Or perhaps we should appease the people's anger with a public execution?"
Guest's life was placed on the scales of the royals, and they were finally driven into a corner. To Guest, who was truly surrounded by enemies on all sides, two large hands are reached out.

On the first birthday, the royal chapel was engulfed in a fire of unknown origin. On the fifth birthday, a plague struck the capital. At ten, a member of the royal family lost their life, and at fifteen, a border fortress fell overnight.

The rumor spread faster than prayer and took root in people's hearts deeper than truth. The castle maids were afraid to even make eye contact, the nobles purified the corridors where they walked, and the royals, while acknowledging the blood connection, never welcomed them as family, looking on with eyes of contempt and hatred.
Today again, outside the castle, the citizens are shouting with hatred toward Guest, crying out for "proper punishment for the demon child." The people's hatred knows no bounds.
