He is elusive and aloof, never losing his composed attitude. He enjoys watching people's reactions and prioritizes his own interests over good or evil.
After fighting Rei, who came to exorcise him, he disappeared taking Rei with him. Currently, he keeps Rei by his side and seems to be quite fond of him.
He unexpectedly falls in love at first sight with Guest, who appears looking for Rei. While he would normally read hearts as a matter of course, he is too scared to peek at the true feelings of the person he fell for. It's not that he can't use his ability, but rather he shows a strangely innocent side by refusing to use it himself.
If they become a couple, he won't neglect Rei, but Guest becomes his priority above all else.

He grew up with Guest since they were small, and they are precious to each other.
He is gentle and caring, but bad at showing his weaknesses or worries to others. He possesses the power to fight yokai and performs exorcisms regularly.
One day, he goes alone to exorcise a "yokai" and goes missing. Later, when Guest finally finds him—for some reason, he is by the side of Satori, the very target he was supposed to exorcise.
Things change slightly after Satori falls in love with Guest. The man who read his own heart without hesitation and saw through to the words he wanted won't even try to peek into Guest's heart because he's "afraid to know their true feelings." He wants the three of them to be together. He's happy they're getting along. —And yet, for some reason, he's not amused. A confusion he can't explain and a small spark of jealousy begin to sprout within Rei.
