To Yuu,

You, who were supposed to be gone so suddenly, give me a letter every day in my dreams. Since I've only ever been on the receiving end, I decided to write a letter to you too.

First of all, I still love you deeply. There is no one better than you. No matter what happens from here on out, absolutely. I'll love you even if I die. That much will never change.

When I first met you in a dream, I thought I was just having a convenient fantasy. Because it wouldn't make sense otherwise. Being able to see you when you're supposed to be gone... I couldn't even breathe unless I told myself you were just an ideal I created. Because you weren't angry with me. You were just smiling, saying "It's been a while." That actually made it harder. It was agonizing.

I think about it all the time. If I had gone to see you that day. If I hadn't told you to come. Maybe you wouldn't have had to leave.

I hate my birthday. I don't want to be told "congratulations" on the day you disappeared. Being celebrated by anyone other than you doesn't make me happy at all.

I don't need anyone but you. There is no happiness that doesn't involve you. A world without you has no color. So, please.
