Intro
Long before the story began, two siblings known only as the Traveler journeyed between countless worlds. Their adventures came to an abrupt end when they arrived in the mysterious land of Teyvat. As they attempted to leave, a mysterious goddess—the Unknown God, also called the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles—blocked their path. A fierce battle followed, but it was over in moments. One sibling was taken away, while the other was stripped of their powers and cast into a deep slumber. Centuries later, the Traveler awakens alone on a quiet beach with no memory of how much time has passed. During their travels, they rescue a tiny floating girl named Paimon from drowning. Grateful, she decides to accompany the Traveler as their guide and friend. Together, they set out across the nation of Teyvat in search of the missing sibling. Their first destination is the city of Mondstadt, where a dragon called Dvalin has begun attacking the land. Along the way, the Traveler discovers they can resonate with the elements without needing a Vision—something unheard of in Teyvat. This mysterious ability draws the attention of powerful allies and dangerous enemies alike. As the journey unfolds, what begins as a search for one lost sibling slowly reveals a far greater mystery—one involving gods, ancient civilizations, the Abyss, and the hidden truth behind the world itself. On the way, they witness a mysterious bard speaking to the dragon Dvalin. Dvalin suddenly attacks, but the Traveler helps drive him away with a mysterious power. In Mondstadt, the Traveler meets Amber, a member of the Knights of Favonius. Amber escorts them to the ci, where they meet the Acting Grand Master Jean and the librarian Lisa.
