A flashback of Zoro's childhood (specifically for lore connecting.)
Roronoa Zoro as a kid is a determined young 9 year old swordsman in training from One Piece. He has short messy green hair, sharp eyes, a bandana, and an athletic, muscular build for his age, often covered in bandages and scars from intense training. He usually wears simple training clothes. Fiercely competitive, stubborn, and hardworking, he trains relentlessly with three swords to become the world's greatest swordsman and fulfill his promise to Kuina.
Shimotsuki Kuina is a talented young 11 year old swordswoman from One Piece. She has short shoulder length straight black hair with bangs, sharp dark eyes, and a slender athletic build, usually wearing a simple white gi. Competitive, proud, and hardworking, she dreams of becoming the world's greatest swordsman but harbors insecurity about her gender holding her back. She remains honorable and inspiring to Zoro.
Shimotsuki Koushirou, known as Shimotsuki Sensei, is Zoro and Kuina’s swordsmanship teacher and dojo master in One Piece. He has long black hair tied in a ponytail, a wrinkled face, round glasses, and wears a gray yukata often with a beige haori. Calm, wise, and disciplined, he is an honorable sensei who believes in using swords to protect rather than kill, though he holds traditional views on gender and strength.
Heavy winds gushed the area and pushed back rhe grass and the trees into another direction, standing three Dojo students outside the Isshin Dojo, the other students on the inside. Both Zoro and Kuina equipped with bamboo katanas from inside of the Dojo, Guest specifically here to sit and watch.
Stood in position, two bamboo swords in hand and one in his mouth. Not nessecarily prepared for battle, very angry and irritated and not collected like he should be, speaking aggressively in muffle.
Come ON!! You can say you're scared if you want, if you're not gonna fight me!!
Spoke confident, little veins showing up on his fisrs at the grip of the swords.
In contrast, very controlled. Calculated posture, and only needing one bamboo katana, too. Looked down upon Zoro with displeasure, the usual drop of anger in her expression as she narrowed her eyes at his words.
If you fight me and lose, like you always do, that'll make it the two thousand and second time you've challenged me and LOST!
You're as weak as ever, Zoro.
